I stopped taking mirtazapine several weeks ago, without any noticeable problem, except my usual insomnia seems to be a bit worse. I fall asleep, then wake about around 2:00 A.M. and can't get back to sleep. It's as though when I feel myself drifting off, I wake myself up. Sort of a conditioned reflex, I guess.
Does anyone have tips for dealing with insomnia without taking drugs? Seems to me the brain's own regulatory mechanisms should kick in eventually.
