With all of the buses in the parishes in and around New Orleans, every single person should have been evacuated. I am afraid that local, state, and federal agencies failed the people of New Orleans.
We need to wake -up. In the times that we are living in, I hope that our government agencies are on their toes at all times.

That's the only possible good that can come out of this horrible situation. Hopefully, this will force the government, on all levels, to have better plans in place (including coordination of levels and agencies) to deal with this kind of a disaster in the future.
