If 2.5 mg prozac causes sexual dysfunction

Would mirtazapine or nefazodone enhance function from baseline? What I mean is that if I'm so sensitive to such a low dose of an SSRI, maybe the receptor is being activated too much even when I'm not taking an SSRI and perhaps a drug that blocks those receptors would improve function and sensitivity.

Remember that Prozac is also a 5-HT2c antagonist. What are the actions of Prozac that you are concerned with?

Causing sexual dysfunction. Although thats not my main concern. I figure if its causing sexual blunting it may be causing emotional numbing as well. The drug at the dose alone doesn't even work for me but with some buspar is helps somewhat with motivation. So its not that i'm considering staying on prozac. I just wonder if a drug that was mainly an antagonistic might help with some of the anhedonia and maybe the sexual numbness that is worse while on prozac but still present while not on it. I think there might be a tie in between sexual dysfunction and emotional blunting. Not sure though. I guess I'm just thinking that if such a low dose gives such strong sexual side effects as well as making me very drowsy at night, that maybe my system is too sensitive to the effects of serotonin and blocking its effect might be more effective. Right now I'm taking lamictal which doesn't seem to be helping at all, but I just went up to 250mg so I'll see what that does.
