Yes, it has helped me. I have MS. I was diagnosed in '06 with 10 lesions on the MRI. I started on some of the conventional medications, but progressed. Within 17 months, the lesion load jumped to more than 60.
Out of desperation my neurologist put me on Tysabri. I was on it 20 months. My neurologist took me off it because I was having recurrent respiratory infections and pneumonia. Tysabri also carries a serious warning: progressive multifocal leukoenchephalopathy (PML). This is a deadly brain infection that can happen, especially after being on the medication for a lengthy time.
The same month I stopped Tysabri, I started on LDN. I've been on it eight months now. Since I've started it, I have more energy, I'm able to walk longer distances with my cane, my bowel and bladder functions have returned to normal and I regained feeling throughout my entire body. In November I had an MRI. It showed no new disease progression! I'm so pleased with the results, that I'm a firm believer in the medication and that is why I posted the information above with the LDN Aware link.
LDN is good for autoimmune diseases like MS, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, crohn's disease, IBS...the list goes on. It has even been effective at stopping some cancers, as well as HIV/AIDS.
I hope telling my personal story helps!

I take 4.5mg (the maximum dose)right before bedtime. I started at 3mg and worked my way up to the current dose. As far as the psych meds, I don't see it being a problem, but I would ask your doctor. I take an anti-depressant and it hasn't interfered with it.
Here's a list of medications not compatible with LDN: http://tinyurl.com/yv4a3k
