My auntie died last night in her sleep, she was 90. She was like a mom to me when I got married to my husband.
She would always bring my favorite pickled eggs and beets whenever I had a get together. She would make them the way we both liked them, sour. It hurts so bad to be missing her, I feel like I lost my mom.

I'm really happy that you were able to find someone in your life who could fill a mothering role for you. It really tells me how special Aunti Helen must have been, and how she must have had an impact on the world around her with that specialness. She touched you, and your children, and many others I'm sure. That touch will always be with you.
I'm really sorry you've lost such an important person in your life.
