This is a statment about what I do, not who I am. In buddhism, there's a difference. The former is not my self, and the latter is my self.
Case in point:
You see those three threads in a row started by llrrrpp ^^^^^^^^
I'm not social

Glasses or contact lenses?THOSE were supposed to go on the SOCIAL BOARD. I felt bad because I hadn't been socializing enough. So, I started THREE THREADS IN A ROW.
Dumb dumb dumb things to do. Oh well. It could have been worse. I could have posted these on psychobabble meds page, or substance abuse, or Faith, or heaven forbid- ADMINISTRATION.
Well. I made a mistake.
Oh well. shrug it off.
You guys were too kind to tell me that I was kind of silly to post that junk on this board. Or maybe you didn't want to hurt my self-esteem. It's okay. I hope you had fun. I did :o)
Now, back to business.

I was thinking this morning, though, that I can't distinguish between the self-esteem and social pages here. -- I mean, I really did think that today...
Maybe there's a connection? Either in the subjects-- or???--- is it all because of You???

Of course you're not an idiot. And starting threads where you tend to hang out is a natural thing to do, don't you think?
I noticed one of them coulda gone on a different board, but every time I try to redirect a thread I get all confused, so I just did nothing. A little poke from my own poor self esteem (why try if I'll mess it up?).
Mebbe if Dr Bob does some housecleaning = random re-placement of errant threads in the middle of the night, you'll see that all of a sudden you no longer have 3 threads in a row!

Funny I noticed how empty social is and realized that self-esteem is now social so I'm confused. Maybe Bob is too. Love Phillipa

Then I guess I'm an idiot, because I thought wearing glasses could have a lot to do with self esteem. It sure does mine. :-(
