LOL! Okay, last session my T says that he thinks my painted toes nails is estravagant.
I said well you are the one who get massages all the time, now that is estravegant.
He says, well it feels so good, well I say having my painted toe nails makes me feel good.
So does saying this show him that I do have some self esteem and not letting his view taint mine?
Besides he is wrong, I only paid $2 for my estravegantance, he had to pay at least $50 bucks. So who is right me or my T ? LOL

you are right, of course. and its not extravagant. its a trifle, and its wonderful. your toes are beautiful, and he may be jealous because hes never been able to convince his wife to paint HER toenails and has rationalized it to himself that his woman is SOOO practical. well. so are you. only you are practical with beautiful toes too!!

LOL I am laughing so hard at your post llrrppy! I love your way of thinking. ;-) And I think it is interesting that I find him looking at my feet a lot, so I think he likes it whether or not he wants to admit it! LOL Men are sooo transparent sometimes!

Not sure, but he looks at my feet a lot. I don't know his comment wasn't exactly positive because he is sort of a "unflashy" kind of guy. So I think in a way it was sort of a disapproving comment. But I still stood by what I thought, that my feet are cute! LOL
Maybe Monday when he askes how I am , I could say well I am here, with my extravagent feet! LOL I don't know why he told me what he did, I mean what is the purpose of telling me what he did? Well I diagree with him anyways! ;-)Another weird thing he did was he came out of his office and was expecting someone else. It didn't bother me at all, but it makes me wonder if he is trying hard to show that he doesn't have a thing for me. You mean he isn't waiting all week just to see me? LOL Haahaa! Plus he hasn't been at the gym at all, it makes me think he is avoiding me for some reason. oh, well.

I think that if having painted toe nails makes you feel better about yourself that is raising your self-esteem. So that's a good thing. Paint your toe nails. Love Phillipa

Today I had my T session and I mentioned what he said about my toes and I asked him how $2.00 is extravavgant. Well he thought I got my nails down professionally. I am like no, I do my own grooming. What was really funny is he told me he made sure he filed his nails today and groomed his beard. So I wonder if it had anything to do with me. LOL I told him good "good for you", I said grooming is an important thing.

Seriously? I feel you should be working on yourself and that what he does he shouldn't be discussing. Now that's just my opinion. Love Phillipa

well, my opinion runs similar to phillipas. kind of like when im pissed that my T answers his phone during our sessions. i understand its summer and kids are home, and they have emergencies and stuff, but seriously--Therapy is his job right ?
anyways, lurpsie says hi and her toes are suffering from 6 weeks with little love and attention. bright red somewhat chipped but cheerful toes.
ciao happy and phillipa
