Is it something you learn from life, is it something you try for, is it something you talk yourself into?
If your T says you have low self esteem, how do you fix it?

Happy I don't know. I'm trying all the recomended things like doing things to up my self-esteem but I still beat myself up. It's so frustrating. Some people have good childhoods where their parents instill a sense of self worth I think. I don't know as my childhood I raised myself. Love Phillipa ps hope someone has the answer or is it within us?

Me too, I raised myself too and instead of having parents who built me up, they emotionally abused me and brought me down.
So where does it come from? Is it something you can still obtain as an adult? Sure wish I knew. I don't even know what you are suppose to do to obtain it if you can.

The only time I've felt good about me was when I taught aerobic dance and I really looked good. I would be asked to model silly things but it made me feel good. And the only other time I felt good about myself was when I won awards in nursing school and was nursing. They say it's supposed to come from inside yourself. Not exterior things like I mentioned.
