I wonder if I should try. Many have reduced positive and negative Symptoms. Like 4 or 5 people on that board. However some can't tolerate it. My doctor basically thinks that supplements are garbage, so I don't know if I can get his approval. Probably not. But he only has to tolerate my problems for 15 Minutes every 10 weeks. I have to every day.

I asked the TCM guy, he said its pretty safe. I am on ¼ of the recommended dosage as of half an hour ago. I just want you to know that there is possibly a lot that can be done and you are not necessarily a hopeless case just because you fail meds.
Another thing I want to say is: If you try meds, would you say "yeah I tired meds and they didn't work" after trying just prozac? Then neither should you say you tried psychotherapy and it failed after seeing just one therapist.

I am mini dosing it and having vivid dreams and sometimes difficulty falling asleep. I will further reduce the dosage. Yesterday, I studied more than usual, which is good.

Hey guys,
I stopped using Lion's Mane, it doesn't seem to agree with me. I had narcolepsy like symptoms. Suddenly I didn't give a damn about anything anymore, just wanted to sleep in the middle of the day (and I had no choice but to give in). I'm still interested in trying TCM stuff, just not this one. My biggest problem is diminished concentration. I can't study for very long. I was up to 3 hours at a time, now I am hovering around 1 ½ hours, which is no good. I NEED to increase it in order to get the degree.
This is the end of the thread.
