I just wanted to make a correction in what I said earlier. When I said I take 600mg of fish oil at night, what I meant was 432mg EPA:288 mg DHA which is actually closer to 700mg. That's about 2 capsules before bed. The TOTAL fish concentrate is actually 2,000mg. When I said 1,000mg fish oil gave the best results in clinical trials, I was referring to the TOTAL EPA in the fish concentrate. It is said that the EPA content is more important than the DHA content. Sorry for any confusion. Hope you feel better soon.

L-Tz,
Thank you so much for your comprehensive and thoughtful replies. I am definitely feeling better, but I have to wait a little while before I can post exactly about what my regimen is. I think I need to figure out what needs to be at what time of day.thanks again,

Do any of you think it matters when you take your fish oil?
Would it help avoid insomnia by taking it after breakfast rather than after dinner?
Or do you think it doesn't matter?

Okay, I've definitely been having some severe insomnia. I'll wake up at 3 am, putz about for an hour or so, then go back to bed and be EXHAUSTED the rest of the day.
I'm still working on the final version of the vitamin regime, but I think it's probably going to involve b-vitamins and multi vitamin during the day and everything else at night. I hate fish burps in the am.

There's not much I feel happy about taking at night.
These should be OK
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Most minerals (I think?)

I'm still getting the insomnia. Hmm, I believe I am posting once or twice at 3am, and certainly getting a lot of my email correspondence for the day out of the way early...
I think the culprit is the b-vitamins in the multivitamin

I suspect the following
resveretrol+grape seed extract
MSM (I can't even remember why...methyl donation?)
anything that raises glutathione
fish oil
B vitamins of course
SAMe
This is the end of the thread.
