Amino Acids... like the ones from protein powders or other products?
Such as Aspartic Acid? sounds like aspartame who knows.
Does anyone have any insight or information on this subject?
I just need to find out what on earth has been making me feel worse since close to new years.
I was given my life back for around 4+ months with an ability to make friends, be social, meet new people, a sex drive, desires, wants, goals, NOW i feel almost all of it is gone and I have to push myself so hard through my strong depression/anxiety/social anxiety and I am just sick of it.

Definitely what you eat has an effect on your mental health to some extent. I stopped eating wheat and within a few months I really started to feel better. I also keep forcing myself to go places totally against the anxiety. It really was tough and it still can be.

>I get anxious from Whey protein. I had assumed at first it was due to the fact the the whey increased tryptophan which I was very sensitive to. Then I thought it might be to the glutamate and possibly glutamine which converts to glutamate and gaba.
Protein also binds heavily to mercury mobilizing it in the body. Whey (un denatured especially) increases glutathione which will restart/increase detox systems which if you have any toxicity of metals or chemicals you may feel worse because of.
