Which are good and which should I stay away from?
Actually, I'm not sure that I trust any form of protein supplement these days after what I've been reading about all of the pet food contamination. Do you think the protein powders are safe now?

Hi Kara
Because I am reactive I use a rice based protein powder (when I use one).
I'm not surprised by pet food contamination.... commercially prepared human food is bad enough.
(I mean stuff like tinned spaghetti and meatballs.)
I hope my brand (Ladybird) is reputable.
Brands like Musashi should be allright, don't you think?

Hi Declan,
Thanks for your response. I'm fairly allergic too so maybe rice powder would be good for me as well. I've never heard of the brands you mention. I don't think they're in the U.S. but I'm sure you looked into them before you bought them so I'd bet that they're fine.

I reacted to whey protein and have had no trouble from rice protein.
