My 17 yr old son does this for fun as there's nothing wrong with him. He also suggests I try it as it's a useful adjunct to psychotherapy. Anyone tried it?

I've tried to have lucid dreams for a couple months now and just had the first one the other night. It's actually really hard for most people to do because you have to, in a way, train your mind (to recognize it's dreaming and then control the dream).
I had a dream about being in a concentration camp the other night - it was horrible - but then realized it was just a dream and was able to turn it into a shopping spree! So that was pretty cool..
