Please pardon my ignorance regarding this, but I'm considering one of the above drugs. I know a lot has been discussed about them but I'd appreciate some further perspective:
Might one be preferable to another (for mild depression and mild-moderate social phobia. Help with mild-moderate ADHD would also be welcome but of secondary importance to the depression)?
Also, does SJW work as an SSRI or does it raise amines by another mechanism?
Thanks...Saturn

I would first of all recommend fatty fish (fish oil)

I think you should avoid SAM-e due to your ADHD. It will make you more stressed (epinephrine) and less awake (melatonin).

Some claime SJW works like SSRI and others claim it works through MAO-inhibition.
There are several flavonoids in SJW that are biologically active (hypericin, xanthones, and hyperforin) so it is possible that SJW works through several mechanisms.
