I said on the other board, some research links higher DHA with lower rates of bipolar.

I found that DHA was more stabilizing and EPA had more antidepressant effects.

You could buy a few different bends and then compare.

I feel more stable since changing to 1200mg DHA, 600 EPA.

In a small number of my bipolar patients a very high dose of about 10g of fish oil had a very calming effect. Andrew Stoll MD in Harvard likes more EPA and less DHA in bipolar

I am pretty sure that EPA has a stronger antidepressant, or mood brightening effect, at least with me.

DHA seems like "thought glue", it really slows down my thinking.

People would have to experiement themselves to see. I bought both pure EPA and pure DHA, and thought this is how they affected me, but others could be different.
