Does anybody know if phenylethylamine is neurotoxic. It is structurally related to amphetamine, and has amphetamine like effects.

Interesting- I've never heard of that it would be though. I always read that it is healthy at 500mg, but I've never felt amphetamine like effects at that does. EMSAM has amphetamine metabolites, and that is described as neuroprotective.

I was under the impression that deprenyl's neuroprotective effects are unrelated to either MAO-B inhibition or its amphetamine metabolite.
