Whilst doing my usual browsing on the net I came across this document
http://home.epix.net/~tcannon1/Physioweek14.htm
It clearly states that panic disorder seems to be genetic and obviously the cause appears biological.
It also states that Tryptophan depletion has no effect. However I've found a study that indicates Tryptophan depletion does have an effect.http://jop.sagepub.com/cgi/content/abstract/16/1/5
So hence I'm a little confused.
CCK4 is also indicated as a trigger for panic and yet CCK antagonist is not effective yeat I believe drug companies are looking in to CCK4 antagonists for anxiety and panic disorder.
If anyone has any thoughts on what I've presented they will be gratefully recieved.
This is the end of the thread.
