I noticed that Linkage mentioned feverfew on the pbabble board and also here.
What does it do exactly?
I tried looking in wikipedia, but it didn't say much!
Thanks
Meri

Feverfew is usually used for migrane.
It's anti-migrane activity stems from its anti-inflamitory action, and its serotonin blocking properties.
It blocks 5-ht2a receptors like the tricyclics and atypical antipsychotics. It has antianxiety properties and mild antidepressant properties.
I found that it could augment SSRI's in a similar manner to taking an atypical antipsychotic.

Thanks for the info.
I don't think I will be taking it anytime soon though!
Kind regards
Meri
