I take most of my vitamins/supplements without food - is it OK? Here is the list:
Fish Oil caps
Evening Primrose Oil caps
Vitamins A,B,C,D
Vit.E 800 IU
Vit B6 50mg
Zinc
Selenium
Magnesium
and few others.

I would definately take them with food.
For starters, the fat soluble vitamins will get poorly absorbed without food. As well, the omega 3 will get absorbed much better with food.

You can take magnesium without food. In fact, Carolyn Dean, in "The Miracle of Magnesium" recommended taking it on an empty stomach, or at least without a high fat meal as fat interferes with absorption.

Amino acids and herbs on an empty stomach.
Vitamins and EFAs with food, minerals too perhaps.
