I did a search for Lecithin on here and found a post saying that Lecithin is not recommended for people with Bipolar because it can increase the depressive phase. Anyone experience this?
Thanks.

Yes, I saw that review too. Its main action is to enhance cholinergic function. In this sence it may help cycling, but central cholinergic agonists can be depressants.
I would think that some lecithin would not be problematic but too much may cause depression.

Another consideration is the inositol content in lecethin. I am from the camp that believes inositol is bad for bipolars, but lecethin generally doesn't contain too much inositol.

Yes.
I took Choline and later Lecithin (like 2 TBS a night) for over a week, and it caused a depression. It took a low dose of Abilify to get me out of it! I'm not taking Lecithin (or Choline for that matter) ever again!
