Hello Rainbowbrite
I have used tyrosine on and off over the past 6 months. Initially I thought it actually decreased appetite but my body seemed to adjust back to normal.
I stopped taking it a month ago and I haven't noticed any change.
I think these supplements have an individual effect though.

Hey thanks for replying! You are probably right, it is so strange cause I have NO appetite. I should just stop it and see if that is what is going on.

Stopping it would be a good idea. Then if you try it again and you get no appetite you have an idea of what is going on.

If the lack of appetite does happen again you could try adding some selenium maybe say 50mcg (if you don't take any already)or even some zinc , say 10mg a day?.. both help convert the tyrosine to T3..and T3 ups the appetite (in a big way with me)but something else in tyrosine helps stop the appetite..probably the dopamine pathway? so I'd guess in most people it should be fairly neutral.??
