Supps or alternatives for liver health?

Okay, given that I take Nardil, perhaps I should be taking care of my liver.

Plus, my dad is an alcoholic, and I suspect his liver is shot, as he appears to be in very poor health.

What are good supplements or alternative meds for liver health?

I don't know which, if any of them, are any good but if you look at the formulas you can get an idea of the supplements that tend to be included in many of them. Aside from silymarin, licorice seems to be one that is mentioned a lot but for some reason I would be a bit worried about taking it if you're on an MAOI. Just a gut reaction of mine though - I don't have anything to back that up. Maybe Lar can add more later.
