Hi,
I am relatively new to this site. I have been coming for over a month and have been posting to the babble section. I am totally against psychotropic drugs b/c of my experiences with them. I am 10 months off all drugs and still having w/d symptoms. It is one the worst experiences I have had. Maybe soon I will write my story here.I am looking at getting my health up to date. I just don't know where to start and I am very reluctant to try herbs b/c of my chemical sensitivity. Can you help me with some direction? I can't be anymore specific until I get somewhere to start. I know I will have more questions as I get comfy here and get chatting.
I was on 13 drugs in 3 years. The drugs that scared me the most is the anti-psychotics. I worry about any permanent damage and how these drugs affected me. I love to read so any reading material would be great. Thanks and I look forward to posting and getting to know you. I am 30 years old and need to lose some weight and start exercising. I am in bad shape.

> JACJHi JACJ,
Here are a few web-sites that I like:
http://www.alternativementalhealth.com
http://www.thewayup.com (your can download Dr. Slagle's book called "the way up from down.")
http://www.healthrecovery.com (I have been helped by info in Dr. Larson's books).
xxx (one person's guide to mood boosters). It may help also to post a specific question about a particular symptom or remedy that you want to know about. Good luck.

Please don't post links to pages that (link to pages that) explain how to produce medication yourself.
If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, please see the FAQ:

Follow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration.
Thanks,
Bob

I searched it again and couldn't find anything about that (except a sentence about chewing coca leaves) but maybe it's buried somewhere in the links.

It's a little buried. There are lots of links there!
