Alternatives to Benzos that work well, please?

Posted by Jonah Hassan on January 8, 2005, at 15:12:48

Hello:

Please let me know about alternatives to benzos, as I am currently needing to take them daily for high anxiety....

Has anyone successfully switched from a benzo to another, healthier substance.

All advice is welcome. Thank you,

Jonah

I think Salmon Oil at about 1,000 mgs EPA helps my anxiety issues. I also use taurine. I do still take Klonopin, but my dose is very low.

I'm beginning niacinamide and no flush niacin and I'm gonna see how that goes for me.

Hi Glydin:

I'd like to know when, how, and at what dose is it oprimal to take taurine for anxiety.

Many thanks, Jonah

Hi Jonah,

Good to meet you and welcome.

The formulation I have is a powder that yields
675 mgs per 1/4 tsp. I take that once to twice per day. Initially, I always used twice. Now, there are times I skip an afternoon dose - usually due to forgetting.

I think it works well. Hope it works well for you.

Glydin
