Has anyone found that GABA has any effect on them ???

I've tried GABA with L-theanine and it I noticed nothing. I heard that it doesn't cross the Blood brain barrier. I am currently trying Picamilon, which is gaba bound to niacin, and so far I haven't felt anything either. I'm also looking for a safe tranquilizer that actually works and is as potent as the benzos.
