Hello
If you get some improvement of anxiety symptoms by taking Tyrosine.........but not enough, would drugs like Wellbutrin and Reboxetine be likely to give you a stronger effect?Does a Tyrosine response indicate noradrenergic dysfunction?
I found this study while browsing:

Hi Larry
Yes I did try Niacinamide at 250mg per day and found it made me more anxious. I looked for another brand as you suggested but Nature's Own was the only brand I could find. With every drug I've tried eg Lexapro, Paxil, Serzone and Moclobemide I have had to reduce the dosage by about 1/4 to be able to tolerate the effects. I suspect it is the serotonin. I hated Tryptophan.
DO you think reducing the B3 dosage and slowly increasing it might be the answer?
Thanks Larry for the suggestion.

Another alternative might be to try phenylalanine (DLPA), instead of tyrosine?

Thanks again, Larry.
I didn't find phenylalanine as useful as the tyrosine for anxiety but it is excellent for pain. After stronger or longer training efforts my legs sometimes ache at night. The P works very well for this.
I'm sold on the taurine!
I tried 75mg of B3 today. I don't feel nervousness but then again I'm at home today. My anxiety stems from encountering humans from the outside world.
