arginine, nitric oxide, growth hormone

anyone with knowledge, will be much appreciated. I have been reading alot about nitric oxide stimulators, n02 stimulators.. mainly bodybuilding supplements. they are supposed to help to release growth hormone. i have been informed that the method of action by which HGH is released is due to neurotoxicity. does anyone know if this is true ?? the component of the product is mainly arginine, with other delivery mechanisms.
