Hi,
I'm doing exceptionnaly well on Chromium Picolinate.
However i live in Canada and my last 2 orders have been stopped by the Custom service.
Do you have any suggestions where i can buy it, well more "safely".
Thanks a million!

My reading of the regs was that personal use importation of 3 month's supply, or less, would be permitted. Maybe you ordered too much? If greater than the expected 3 month dose level was in one package, it falls under the commercial rules. Commercial rules mandate all kinds of documentary evidence of safety. Seizure is automatic. I also note that there is nothing in the regs that says what the daily dose might safely be, so what constitutes 3 month's worth is subject to interpretation. You could appeal the seizure order.

Thanks Larry for the infos. I will try to find out a store which sells the chromium picolinate.
By any chance do you know what is the mechanism of action of this stuff? I find chromium picolinate very effective in treating sugar craving and oversleeping. Two residual symptoms of the bipolar depression.
Thanks!

> Thanks!Chromium helps to reduce the effects of insulin resistance. Insulin is the hormone that tells your body tissues to absorb glucose out of the blood. Insulin resistance means that the effect of the insulin is much weaker than it should be. Your body is unable to respond effectively to the insulin, and your pancreas starts to burn itself out trying to churn out enough insulin. Sugar craving could have been your body starving for sugar, even though there was already lots in the blood. It wasn't getting into the muscles and organs that needed it.
I can't find any link to hypersomnia, though.
