Hey Larry...do you have, or know of where to get, a complete list of all the new things Health Canada now allows to be sold as suppliments in Canada? Thanks so much again,
Jay

You know the government. They can't put such a simple list together. Here's a partial list:
http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hpfb-dgpsa/nhpd-dpsn/compliance_new_drug_list_e.html

That list doesn't totally agree with this one:
http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hpfb-dgpsa/nhpd-dpsn/overview_nhp_regs_e.html#21

Each approved product must have a licensing monograph, so if there is a monograph, it's legal. There is also a phase-in period.
http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hpfb-dgpsa/nhpd-dpsn/monograph_compendium_list_e.html

Each product must also meet purity standards. Here is the template for amino acids, as an example: http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hpfb-dgpsa/nhpd-dpsn/compendium_of_monographs_table_8_e.html

Here are some sample question in a FAQ:
http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hpfb-dgpsa/nhpd-dpsn/faq_consumers_e.html

There is a list of substances which cannot be imported by individuals under the three-month personal use clause (Schedule F, C.R.C. c.870), but the link keeps failing.

Otherwise, an approved substance will have an eight-digit code with the letters NPN (natural product number).

Sorry, I've yet to see the answer to your simple question anywhere. I'd love to see a list myself.

Lar
