Anyone tried using melatonin for Effexor XR insomnia symptoms? Is this safe to use with Effexor? Are there any liver damage side effects from the melatonin that anyone knows of?

Hello!
I've actually used Melatonin for years with several different SSRI's and SSNRI's and never had a problem (I didn't take it with Remeron since the Remeron is very sedative on its own). Currently, I am also taking Effexor with Melatonin with no complications whatsoever (my doc also has no concerns with this combination). Of course, your circumstances may be different.
