There was never any mention of OPCs curing bipolar. I don't think any supplement can claim to cure bipolar. There is no one supplement, or combination thereof, that if taken for an extended period of time, and then stopped, will remove "bipolar" from the person. I think persons can hope for complete symptom remission and a stable, happy disposition with the correct combination of supplements, for as long as they're on them, and perhaps for a week or two after stopping them ;)

I was in a dialogue with Larry on the board focusing on OPCs regulating effect Vs. effect :) on nitric oxide synthase, and how it might be able to be manipulated for the benefit of bipolar, through that enzyme's interactions with NE and dopamine. The crux of my argument culminated in a statement by Lester Packer about how OPCs modulate nitric oxide synthase.

"this needs to be checked on."

I guess it does. It still won't change my opinion.

That's just me, too.

Infections (and only certain bacterial ones) are the only diseases that one might think of as curing, IMHO.
