Each year around November, I will start to develop bronchitis and cough non-stop for at least a month. Then last year, the doctor prescribed me with Zithromax and it worked out fine. After a week of medication, I am 80% cured.
However, just wondering, I can't take a pack of the same medication every year to stop bronchitis... I mean... this medication is used for other sicknesses too and I don't want to rely on this all the time. My doctor seems to just give this to me whenever I am sick.. I am just afraid that my body will get used to the medication. Besides are there any side-effects? I know that we are not supposed to take too many anti-biotics... but I really have no choice...Does any of you know of a good way to stop bronchitis and stop my cough? I hate coughing... It's November again and I am coughing... I cough a lot nowadays and it's affecting school and family... Please help me!

You do not become used to the Zithromax, the
antibiotics become resistant to the germs,
it they are not taken as directed.
Besides are there any side-effects? I know that we are not supposed to take too many anti-biotics... but I really have no choice...Have you had any side-effects ? It is not that we are not to take antibiotics, it is that we need to take them as directed.
