I took it for about a month as well. I have a family history of bipolar, and although I don't think that I am clearly bipolar I do know that inositol changed things dramatically. Do note that I was taking Folic acid at the time as well, some people say that they work synesergically.

I would definitely do it in divided doses personally. the reason would be to try to keep levels of it in your body steady throughout the entire day because of it's short half-life. just my opinion. I would probably work up to taking three, 4 gram doses in the morning, afternnon and evening. good luck
