Hey folks:
Yes, another nasty situation with melatonin being available in the U.S., but not in Canada. I don't know about this...but does *anyone* please have a reliable source that would ship to Canada? I pay a pretty hefty buck for my current melatonin that I get "under the counter" at a local health food store near the border here in Canada.
I have had some very, very amazing results with this stuff when used with medications. (I found using it *without* medications to be just plain _blah_) It seems to not only help with sleep, but with mood stability when used with antidepressants. Please help me if you can..:-(
Thanks very much...
Jay

http://www.hilife-vitamins.com/They charge a flat-rate for shipping to Canada, so consider a large order. It comes by Purolator in Canada, though it says something about a US postal express service. They have some very good prices on e.g. TMG, as well. Expect to pay brokerage and GST, on top of the cost of the order. Occasionally, I get deliveries that aren't dinged for the extras, though.
Alternatively, I could pick some up for you, as I enter the States frequently, but I can't promise any sort of a schedule. I've been trying to get into a Walmart for a long time, but I haven't found a moment to do so.

Vitamin Shoppe ships to Canada. I've ordered from them before, on the Net and for years previously per catalog, and have always found them reliable. http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/
iherb (which I've also used and and like) ships to Canada. Here's their shipping page for Canadians: http://www.iherb.com/canada.html

Hey guys:
What I need to know is if it is legal, or atleast not a problem, ordering and having melatonin shipped from the U.S. to Canada. I was *floored* by the awesome prices on the sites you guy's mentioned, but at the very least, don't want my shipment to be *confiscated*. Have you guys ordered melatonin from the U.S. to Canada?
Thanx SO much...Jay

I was *floored* by the awesome prices on the sites you guy's mentioned, but at the very least, don't want my shipment to be *confiscated*.The iherb site has a page where it describes the list of stuff they will not ship to Canada, and melatonin isn't on it. That said, I have received stuff that *is* on the prohibited list, from other sources.
In order to try and clarify what the rules *are*, I just spent an hour or so trying to make sense of the Health Canada website, and I cannot get a clear answer on anything (except kava, banned Aug. 21). I've sent an email asking for more info.

I haven't. I buy mine at Walmart when I'm in the States. I only order stuff that I can't get at Walmart.

Hi jay. If you are near the border, why wouldn't you go to the USA yourself and by the stuff. I live in Montreal and I do it all the time no problem.
