Wilson,s Disease is caused by lack of an enzyme that takes copper out of the body.It causes every mental illness there is.The copper causes tons of hydroxal free radicals that attack the brain and liver.You can have schizophrenia or manic depression caused by this.The free radicals attack the miticondria and damage there DNA.The miticondria make the atp energy that runs the cell and maintains calcium homeostasis.Without this energy the cell malfunctions and mental illness results.The cell just gets weaker and weaker untill it dies.The miticondria of people with manic depression must be damaged.A PET scan would show this damage.Someone needs to do this.Emory U. could do this.
