I (that old person in the archives) still exists here,
feels like so long ago THAT person who I don't even recognize now. That is probably a good thing.
People heal.
People change.Just looking back and looking at the present.
I have changed.
Has Babble changed?
The world has changed.
Is Babble an old shoe...comforting... but is it still familiar? Does it even come in my size anymore?
hmmmmm....

Thanks everyone for your response. I was surprised to still see Babble going, although it does still seem rather quiet compared to what it was years ago.
I finally graduated college last May after changing my major so many times, and now my kids have started college this semester. My husband and I just recently just moved to a new city, so I am getting everything settled. My new artist life is probably the place I should have always been. It is a healthy place to put my emotions and communicate without getting blocked. ha ha!
I still see Babble blocks, and I still don't fully agree with ways it is done. It is probably why I have stayed away all these years. I was seriously hoping to see a more mentally healthy friendly way after all these years, but I see I was and would still be fighting a losing battle for positive change if I had stayed. Now I have been putting my energy into other activist activities for positive change in other areas and luckily have seen results!
This Sunday, on a show called So You Think You'd Survive on the Weather Channel will be featuring one of my videos I shot while I was on a photo shoot. I don't have cable myself, so a friend is going to record it for me so I can watch it.
I have found it interesting to read posts from some babble people I used to know, at least from an online stance.
Peace out! Love is the answer to most problems. Be the change you wish to see, yadda, yadda, yadda!
This is the end of the thread.
