i quit this bitch

how many people have quit this board or have been kicked off this board because of lou pilder?

well, lou has won another round.

that he has been allowed to compromise the recovery and treatment of others for so long is amazing to me. why not have a priest moderate a sexual abuse survivor meeting?

and lou, don't congratulate yourself. your reward - if anyone listened to you - would be the hanging, water-logged or bloody corpses of people you convinced that their serious mental illness was just a personality defect.

so go ahead and wage war against the galactic federation run by xenu and hook your e-meter up to your nipples. and if you are not a scientologist, my mistake. if you are not a scientologist then you are nothing more than a douche bag.

because the graphic description triggered me. Honestly, I skipped most of it for self-protection.

I'm sad you are leaving. I've participated in some good threads of which you were a valuable contributor.

Sometimes people really get under my skin. It's frustrating. Sometimes I just
blow, you know, like, I can't take it anymore. I can hear my self-talk saying things like that. Usually, for me, the outcome is pretty negative. Not only have I broken connections with others, but the double insult is that I really don't feel any better in the long run. I have learned, though, that repairs can almost always be made with varying results. Even if my attempt to repair *fails*, I seem to gain a little more resilience and deal with any regret. I read a quote somewhere, sometime back which I now completely mangle, but it's something like no act of kindness is ever wasted.

Sometimes life is frustrating both in real life and over the net. One thing Dan you can chose to do is not read a post. Phillipa

I find it easier not to open Lou's posts to protect myself from going off the deep end. There are other members here where I do the same thing. You just have to learn to choose what you will read.

Sorry to see you go. :(

Give us a break Lou. We don't need to hear the negative all the time.

The requests to view videos I don't have to do just like you don't. Civility guidelines sounds better. Poor wording and trying to post ebay at same time. Phillipa

Please don't post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down.

But please don't take this personally, either, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person, and I'm sorry if this hurts you.

It's up to you to decide whom you interact with. Sometimes interacting with others may be frustrating, staying civil may be a challenge, and new skills may help. If you're open to developing new skills (which I realize may not be why you came in the first place), that's another way in which you may be supported by other posters.

More information about posting policies and tips on alternative ways to express yourself, including a link to a nice post by Dinah on I-statements, are in the FAQ:

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#enforce

Follow-ups regarding these issues, as well as replies to the above post, should of course themselves be civil.

You're amazed that there are still people who are afraid of medication? I think it's understandable.

Bob
