I'm off AD's for the first time in 25 years!!!
I am feeling a lot of good and hard emotions but I like it.
Hopefully, the 3 mood stabilizers will work because I may not be willing to go back on them.

Hi Phil.
Would you want to post on the Medication board to receive some feedback regarding your treatment?
If you are not taking a drug like Zyprexa, I would encourage you to examine it as an adjunct to the other drugs you are currently taking. For me, Zyprexa acts within hours when I am in a manic state. I also respond well to Depakote. However, I find that Zyprexa helps more to treat the dysphoria.
Believe it or not, I have seen Topamax work incredibly well to treat a hypomanic mixed-state. I have become a believer in the utility of this drug. One woman I know is doing well at 100mg.
Anyway, I just wanted to provide you with some information. I am not happy to see you struggling so much. I do have some insight into dysphoric mania, as I have experienced it myself.
