I was surprised recently with a critically important work deadline for early next week. I don't see any way I'll meet it if I don't quit Babbling until it is past.

And why do deadlines come at the nicest times of the year? Although lately they seem constant...
Just didn't want to seem rude if I left midconversation, or left emails or babblemails unanswered, as I'm sure I did. Well, I suppose it's still rude of me...

Sorry things have been so difficult at work, especially at this time of year. I hope you'll be able to meet your deadline and take a break.
