thank you for your words of kindness, Partly.I've been kind of quiet on this whole happening, which is probably good, because I *DO* have some strong feelings. I didn't feel so upset in the moment. Maybe I was stunned. Now I'm feeling pretty badly about the whole thing. I'm wondering how I should interpret certain posts.
I'm afraid to speak about my feelings about these posts on my thread, because I do not want to commit incivilities. If you are curious about my feelings, you may try to put yourself in my place. Imagine that you had written a thread and that you got an e-mail update that popped up as
B*TCHES
So, it's interesting to have some feelings about SSSS's circumstances and such, how she's faring being blocked, etc.
I've got stuff to say, but also an inner censor.
I'll shut up now.

((((Llurpsie))))
I'm sorry that this whole episode happened, and also have my own thoughts about the posts in question, which I too will censor.

Thanks Nad, for your support.
Wonder if our thoughts are doing a Viennese Waltz in the Collective Unconscious.
what's for lunch?
I dunno what else to query, given the lack of options I perceive for expressing myself

I'm thinking a couple of things here.
That there was more than one person who was hurt in all the posting going on. Hence the hug.
That there should be some recognition of that hurt that doesn't need to include an expression of incivility. It's not easy, but it's doable.
I think that by stuffing this particular hurt under and away - because at this moment we can't think of a civil way of expressing how we feel about it - ultimately does some disrespect to ourselves. We (that would be YOU, Llurpsie) are valid members of the Babble community, and our feelings are no less honorable than any one other's.
I say that it's too bad that you were hurt in this war of words, and it's too bad that we get to look at the reminder of those words until the board archives. At least, delete your email of the message.
caringly,
pc

...about this particular aspect of the subject.
It saddens me. Makes the place feel less dimensional.:-(
This is the end of the thread.
