I don't understand what the big deal is. What upset all the posters so badly....simply that Bob suggested a very MINOR change of policy....and one that hasn't even been enforced yet?
How can one such little minor thing disturb so many people?
People have been posting that they're losing sleep, that they spend entire hours with their therapists talking about how this site is falling apart, etc.....and all for this! It seems like a non-issue.
I mean, if Bob wanted to change the color of the font on one of the pages, that would've been a bigger deal! Would that, then , have driven members to want to jump off bridges? Come on ya'll, aren't we supposed to be adults here???

Please respect the views of others even if you think they're wrong. Please be sensitive to their feelings even if yours are hurt. Different points of view are fine, and in fact encouraged, but your freedom of speech is limited here. It can be therapeutic to express yourself, but this isn't necessarily the place.

As I understand it, the concerns about Dinah's resignation came on top of previous concerns about the blocking policy generally, and particularly at the blocks relating to Zazenducke and Verne.
That doesn't make a huge amount of sense, but that's how I saw it.
