Is this an admin issue? Why are you posting here?

- I think this whole post should be moved ASAP - it doesn't belong here because it is not an administrative issue.

Can someone please move this thread?

I don't understand. Why are people getting upset over original post? Now I'm crying. I'm hurt.

Did I do something bad again? I hate this. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I posted it in the wrong spot. Maybe move it to social or something. I'm sorry. I feel so bad and upset now. :-(

I'm sorry.

> I feel bad about writing my post now. I feel attacked.

Deneb, I statements are difficult, but writing "I feel" is sometimes not enough. "I feel bad when I read the posts to me" is a true I statement. While
I feel attacked" IMO is more problematic since there is more of an implication that someone else did something (I feel attacked *by someone*), which may make them feel accused or put down.

Keeping that in mind, could you rephrase the above statement in terms of what you feel yourself, not what you feel others may have done? If you have any questions about your rephrasing, feel free to contact the deputies.

Thanks,

Dinah, acting as deputy to Dr. Bob

I see the administrative point of this thread. My reading is that Deneb is concerned with what the site in terms of other posters or Dr. Bob can do to prevent future tragedies.

Dr. Bob, of course, might decide otherwise, but I do not see that this post is not appropriate here, and to keep others from feeling put down (such as feeling they had posted inappropriately) I'm going to ask that you contact the administration about these matters, and not post them on the board.

Dr. Bob may of course consider the matter in a different way.

Adding a trigger warning is perfectly appropriate for a poster to do, and something that can be done if a poster finds a post upsetting.

Dinah, acting as deputy to Dr. Bob

Hi Deneb
Isn't it a weird thing?
Someone is here, and then they are not, and we have such a lot of difficulty getting our heads around it.
Why is that?
I'll never understand it.
It seems to me like there is one big mind, and we are all parts of it, just arbitrary cut off parts.
It's all very strange.

Sometimes when I'm feeling bad, it's very easy to misinterpret things. I was very sad about pseudoname and that primed to react badly to everything really. I see now that I wasn't attacked. I just felt it at the time, but that doesn't mean it was true. I feel a lot of things. Sometimes they don't make sense. I think I also use the wrong words to express myself.

I'm sorry if I hurt anyone with my feelings. Someone told me I have changed and I can show it now by reacting differently.

IT's wierd that people talk to doctor bob when it's obvious he doesen't answer personal posts. It's like one day you're expecting him to respond or something? And in a mental health forum it's inevitable that people will commit suicide, our invtervention isn't going to do much, when they have come to that point - an internet forum just isn't going to prevent it. Remember people are here because they're mentally ill, which is one of the number reasons for suicide.

Thank you :) (nm) » Deneb

Thanks for the reminder that that's one of the reasons for the notification button. We've had it for a while now, let's consider it uncivil not to use it from now on.

Keeping in mind that the idea here is not to post anything that could lead others (including those who post to Administration) to feel accused or put down, could you please rephrase that? Thanks,

Bob

Thanks, but is your intent to apologize? If so, could you apologize for something you did instead of for interpreting that someone else did? Thanks,

Bob

**OK I thot and thot and thot,
I kinda tired, but I THINK what ol Bob in his way is trying to get at, is the word, interpreted.

He proly wants to see something like,

I'm sorry if my post made anyone feel bad.

Cuz then you take it all on yourself.
Or something like that???
I must admit I am a tad flummoxed by this.
Yeah, I guess by using the word interpreted, that word shifts the blame to the person doing the interpreting, like they interpreted it wrong...
I think???
I find this stuff rather fascinating.
I am learning.
Strange but true.
So feel free to cut and paste my wonderous apology Fayroe!!!! LOL :-)
Take care,
Nice to see you.
M
