Given that the result of drinking the poisoned Kool Aid was that the victims of the Guyana tragedy were DEAD, I hardly think that having another glass would be doable. And I'm frankly shaken and profoundly OUTRAGED at the offer for ANYONE to do what the Guyana victims were coerced to do.

Didn't get them comfused, I got an A Plus, 100% in general psych.
BOth experiments have to do with preception of authority, upon the ones with authority and the ones receiving punishment from authority.
Authority is a very powerful influence.

In fact I have done so well in my psych classes that I have been asked by a professor to be her teachers assistant, where I can help teach Psych 101.
Plus the chairman of the Psyc Dept., has asked me to help do research for a couple of their Phd. professiors, because of my understanding of psych. So, no I didnt' get them mixed up, in fact I have done quite well in the subject.

In fact, I was told I had the highest grade point average of my class, and am in the lead for valedictorian. In fact I have been asked to do an internship next summer, with a famous psych expert, because he has heard about me. So, no I didn't confuse them.

Just be careful when tooting your horn Happyflower. Sometimes people can feel that one is seeing oneself as superior to them if they promote themselves too much. Although I admittedly have a problem promoting myself at all... Personally, I did very well in psych too, and I'm really not quite sure how the Milgram experiment would fit into this thread at all. What authority figure is telling someone to do something against their personal conscience? None that I see. I also don't see very many parallels with the Stanford Prison Experiment. No one is acting at all like anyone in that case.
Nope, don't see any parallels at all. And I got an A in Psych 101 and have also been asked to TA classes. No one asks me for internships, but that's mainly because I'm a biology major, not a psych major. I'm glad you do well in school. I just hope you realize that many many many other people do as well as you.
