LOL, thanks for the carrot warning! I am able to resit the carrot, I don't even plant them in my garden, I prefer tomatoes at least my bunny rabbits leave them alone. :-) LOL

I heartily agree. "Duel relationships" between patients and clients, and also between professionals and their clients are a really really bad idea. Bad for business, too.

Do you have any idea of how it feels to be a member of a group of four or five people who are being compared to that experiment?
Do you have any idea what it feels like to wake up every morning and read Admin?
I may be an arrogant prig, but I had the insane idea that I was doing good here. I even used to tell my therapist that I felt like this was my calling to do good in this world.
What an idiot I was.
I haven't told him that in a very long time. I've told him that I seem to be spending an awful lot of my time causing an awful lot of harm, and that it's one more area in my life where everything I do is wrong. There are so d*mn many of those.

I recognize those things as things I've said to you at one time or another.
I am not a liar. If I said them it's because I meant them.
And I don't know who you might think my friends are, but if you take a poll of the people I feel closest to, I think many of them will tell you they've been PBC'd by me at some point.
And perhaps most importantly, it's hard to give a PBC to a friend, but it's even harder to give one to someone you might have other feelings about. I personally pass on posts where I think it's at all possible that I might have a conflict of interest. The other deputies, I'm sure, will attest to that as will Dr. Bob.
For whatever this is worth, which likely is abolutely nothing whatsoever.

Given that the result of drinking the poisoned Kool Aid was that the victims of the Guyana tragedy were DEAD, I hardly think that having another glass would be doable. And I'm frankly shaken and profoundly OUTRAGED at the offer for ANYONE to do what the Guyana victims were coerced to do.
