Hi- it's so great Babble is back on! Thank you, Dr. Bob. I had trouble re-registering under my old name of Pfinstegg, so my new name is twinleaf. That's a rare flower that grows in the eastern part of the country. It was supposed to be Thomas Jefferson's favorite, and is named after him (the Latin name includes his). I hope I will seem to be the same person! I hate to give up my old name, but well, new T- new name.

It is a lovely new name. :)
But if you want the old one back, Dr. Bob is being quite helpful with restoring names and passwords.

Thanks, Dinah! I know he would. I'm not sure what to do- so will just stick with the new one for a while, at least.

I hardly ever read Admin, so I'm happy to now know who you are! It's a beautiful name.
I shared your story with my t. I needed reassurance this wasn't going to happen to me. She shook her head and said, "That's unbelievable, sad and shocking." I mentioned how strong you were not to go back after receiving his letter and quickly she said, "Well how could she ever trust him again?"
Thinking of you,
Annie

Thank you, Annie- that means so much. I think what happened to me is very rare, and has much more to do with the T's own internal life than with mine - my own new T has continued to be very shocked by it, also, and said it was a "tragedy", after I had invested him with so much trust and attachment. Just want you to know, though, that, week by week, I am feeling gradually better. The new T and I are taking things slowly- just trying to get over the heartbreak and developing trust.

OK, just let me know if you'd like to change back...

Thank you, Bob. I appreciate the thoughtful offer, but I guess I'll stay with my new name. Thanks ,though!
