Like her namesake, Phillipa's determination to add something (anything) to the bloodline of any conversation on PsychoBabble has become intolerable to me -- personally.
I suggest a max of oh, 10 posts per day for any one user?
More Psycho, less Babble.
Personally, the signal to noise ratio has gotten too high for me on PB to peruse, let alone contribute.

Please don't post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down.
If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please see the FAQ:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
Follow-ups regarding these issues, as well as replies to the above posts, should of course themselves be civil.
Dr. Bob is always free to override deputy decisions. His email is on the bottom of each page. Please feel free to email him if you believe this decision was made in error.

I'll let the facts speak for themselves:
I just ran a count on the posts in the current PsychoBabble.
Out of 793 posts, 127 were from one poster.
That's 16%, or 31.75 posts per day.

I believe these figures vary from day to day from poster to poster.
You can't pick out ONE day, and make assumptions on posting in general.
Even the day you picked remains a subjective choice. If you did random days, over the last year, and figured several of them, your figures would be different I am sure, and probably more accurate. Plus how did you "choose" which poster to concentrate on? hmmm.

I wish I understood the problem here. If someone doesn't like my posts - they just don't have to read them. It's a pretty easy technique. I use it myself for a couple posters. I just don't read their posts. Voila. No acid stomach.
I have personally never had this problem with Phillipa's posts.

I think it's important to remember that just because something annoys you personally, that doesn't necessarily mean there's something wrong with the behaviour that irritates you.
I get irrationally irritated by computer lingo
as in "do U think I cud post 2 U ?"
That's MY problem - language is always changing I'd better get used to it.In this case particularly because you have a choice which is to simply not read the posts, and because many people appreciate phillipa's presence maybe you just need to suck it up, princess.

Fortunately, Phillipa averages 31.5 kind and civil posts per day. That's not a bad example to set, in my view.Greywolf
