Babble isn't really the same without him. I know it's the posters who make Babble, but Dr. Bob is the one who shapes and guides Babble.
I hope he understands that.

I believe that Babble is primarily an experiment to him. So, now he is recording what happens when he stays away. Maybe he can write another journal article on this new topic - how to extricate yourself from a website.
He's probably pretty burnt out on supporting this site, and wants to leave it behind eventually. However, I am SURE he is reading Babble. It's clearly a source of pride/self-esteem/ego-buoyance for him.
