I think this has come up before but we now have Daisym (me) and DaisyDaisy -- isn't that kinda confusing?
Am I being territorial?
Is there anything that can be done?
I don't want a new poster to be offended or go away. But I'm not sure I want to share my name either.
Life just gets more and more complicated for me.
Tell me to be quiet now, if that is the answer.
Thanks
Daisy

Hi Daisy,
We all know who you are but I understand the feeling. First off, I didn't like it either.
I had to change my name a while back and now someone has a simular name to that old name,(but they don't know because they are new) and I am wait, no! you can't do that that is me!
But that is just me, because I wish I could still be the old name, it has memories for me, and I miss being called it. But that person doesn't know that, so I am just slowly dealing with it. I just don't know how Dr. Bob could deal with the situation. ((((Daisy)))

I understand too daisy. Our names mean alot proly cuz there's no pic or body language, so our names are important. But I think satin is right, what to do? I don't think anyone means harm, they just try and pick a name when registering.
Take care,
Sorry you struggling,
Please be straight w/your t.

Names are important, and as muffled said, maybe especially here. But I think it's hard to deal with that with rules.
But in this case, I think she did change her name:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/20060317/msgs/622949.html
but had trouble with it. I'll try to help her make that transition.
DaisyDaisy, if you're having password problems or something, please email me.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,
Bob

>>people are dying around here
here is this world; this life; the present:around was just a futile attempt to distance myself from the awful truth that all of us are dying But I withdraw the around so you won't be confused and cause me to feel accused by saying I am exaggerating. I was not referring to a particular geographic location. Although I could argue of course that that is also true. But I won't.
My rephrase is
People are dying here
I don't want to offend you with my thoughts again so soon.
Feel free to change your name to Drbobduckie at any time. Life is short.
This is the end of the thread.
