Can we have more colour options in chat?

Posted by alexandra_k on October 9, 2006, at 5:30:05

You have a whole bunch of colour options on your homepage, could you have that many on chat too?

P.S. If feeling annoyed at Bob one can experiment with plugging him in on his homepage. Funny... I never noticed that the mouse had some control over that before...

Lol.

My option to get color in chat doesn't work-- ie I ask for a color, and it's still black and white. boohoo.

A bigger problem is that that box is so small, and also when I type a letter, or a word, such as "what" or anything, if I've ever used the word or letters to start a chat post, that-- and about 20 other similar lines--flash up in black and white right over the box.
Grrr. How did I get rid of that?

(You know it "offers" me prior choices, just in case I'm inputting data, eg address, etc, and just want to one-click it, rather than have to type the whole thing.)

Are you clicking the button to 'set changes' or similar after changing the colour? I had trouble changing the colour for a bit, then I managed to figure that out...

I think you can change your firefox settings. I don't have that... But it means it doesn't predict posting names and stuff like that anymore (which is fine by me).

Yeah, I was thinking that. I guess I"ve got to bite the bullet and tell it not to save information I put onto forms. Guess I can enable that option if I"m filling out forms. It's the only thing I find on the tools menu, if anyone elses uses firefox. I tried that and it seems to have worked.

It's okay, Alex_k. I'm happy you're here. Even if someday I get mad at you, which I haven't been, or disappointed, or frustrated (which, yeah- I get a little bit, sometimes-- but that's me, not you--), I'll still be happy.

You're someone I like a lot, and when I like someone, I like them-- even if I"m mad or frustrated, or wish I knew what to say. Even if I'm fighting with them-- I still like them.

You're interesting, and lively, and you keep at it-- I admire all those things in you. Sometimes I worry you'll be blocked, and I try to rush in to "reason" you out of things-- cause I want you around. That's probably annoying, so I don't hold it against you-

-- as long as you stick around, and don't just leave-- cause there's the chance and time for you (and me) to get to that better place.

That's what I especially like about you-- maybe you'll go away-- but more likely you'll stick around and keep on talking. I certainly hope you do.

Thanks for thinking of me, Alex.
