i was wondering if instead of having the social board for being social *and* support, that perhaps we could create a board titled "support" (separate from the social board).
there have been times that i have been in deep despair, and to see ppl around you ignoring your pain and having fun can make one feel even worse...the setup of the site here simply needs to be changed. not the socializing (i'm glad ppl are able to have fun and socialize.)
also, whenever i post about needing support on social i always feel like i am gonna bring someone down or force someone not in a position to be supportive to feel they have to. again, let's change the setup!!! i think everyone will be happier. or can we just try the experiment at the very least?
take care,
amy

I've been waiting for a new board (self esteem) for a while now. I think Dr Bob has other stuff going on right now.
(I replied to you on Social BTW.) In the meantime, re-post if you have to, and don't worry about bumming anyone out. Social is the catch-all board, with everything that entails - cries for help, bad jokes, silly stuff, and warm and fuzzy stuff.

I think a board on self esteem would be a very good idea. I'll second it!!
Is it a case of when, not if??
Kind regards

Yes, indeed. Dr Bob has promised us, but has other things going on now.

Yes, it's me, SHOUTING. Don't you agree that the addition of a board soley for support would be a critical balance to the Politics and Faith boards, which are the sources of so much dissent and disagreement?
Come on, please. It's not fair that we've been waiting all this time. My attempts at being assertive are pretty lame. You are a deterrent to my own development - I do take this inaction personally.

I'm not sure I do. All the boards are supposed to be for support. Even Politics and Faith.

I know it's been a long time, I'm sorry, but it's still not personal.
